Hey readers, sadly this will be my last post. This experiment has taught me many things. I learned a lot throughout this process, blogging and updating this website. The experience I had doing this blog, I will never forget. Before I go, I would like to write about what the results of my experiment mean.
First of all, what were my results? The results showed that the LeBron 12's, otherwise known in this experiment as the shoes designed for basketball, had the highest average jump height compared to any other shoes. This means that the basketball shoe industry is thriving, because the shoes actually improve the performance of the player, albeit by small increments.
The other sources which I used to research the effect of shoe design, also said this would happen. The results show that the difference between the lowest and the highest jump averages is 5.33 centimetres. This is definitely not a big difference.
While the shoes may help a basketball player vertically leap higher by a small amount, the key to leaping higher is still training, and increasing the strength of the legs, as well as losing as much weight as possible.
Thanks for reading,
Migs
